Widnes Vikings Rugby League Club make investment in customer service and marketing
Widnes Vikings Rugby League Club have become the second rugby league club to use Seatbooker ticketing software to print tickets on demand, rather than use pre-printed tickets.
Harold Lynsky of Widnes said, “Like many smaller venues we used pre-printed tickets. The difficulty of keeping good database information of season tickets, customers and match ticket purchasers, forced us to look at alternatives. Using Seatbooker, we only print the required numbers of tickets, reducing our costs."
"At the same time, we can capture and use customer data during the sale or renewal process, as well as improve on our match day controls. This improves the bottom line and customer service at the same time."
The system, to be installed at the Halton Stadium during February, will include:
- Automatic transfer of existing databases to the Seatbooker database
- A link to the Halton Borough Offices at the stadium for their ticket management
- Access to the Seatbooker website for future Internet ticketing
