Internet ticketing software provides virtual kick start for Queen's Park Rangers
Queen's Park Rangers football club will kick-start their 2002/2003 season by adding online ticketing software giving fans a real choice of seat.
Queen's Park Rangers is the latest football club to select Seatbooker as the provider of seat level Internet ticketing software.
The Seatbooker service:
- Improves the accessibility of tickets
- Builds better databases for future marketing purposes
- Collects customer profiles
- Eliminates the need for re-keying of data
- Removes the extensive manual reconciliation of seats
Jim Frayling, QPR Marketing Manager said, "We're delighted to offer our fans Internet ticketing software that is fast, easy to use, and above all convenient. Important factors in our decision to select the Seatbooker service were:
- Our ability to control the timed release of tickets
- Control of on-sale criteria to manage limited ticket availability and their allocation."
The Seatbooker Internet ticketing software enables the club to control the ticket price, ticket categories and ticket purchase rules. Tickets are printed directly in their box office, complete with an address mailing label, and credit card receipt, ready for posting.
The Internet ticket site, hosted by Seatbooker, is branded as QPR's official site and managed by the club. Customers can register online and security is provided by the normal SSL and a range of other measures to prevent unauthorised use.
